Job Position: Co-Event Planner

Duration: 1 year or longer

Education requirement: high school diploma and experience... (college credits not required, college degree not required).

Experience:  Applicant should have experience, but not limited to club promotion, internet marketing, travel and party promotion, graphic design, web design. Applicant does not have to possess all the qualities described above, but if they have knowledge of the above-mentioned, it will be helpful.

Prefer a candidate between the ages of 21-30. The candidate should also have a car or access to a car, driving may or may not be required, depends on the event.

-        Someone who has access to a computer and the internet, especially various social networks and message boards.

-        Someone who has an interest in the travel and/or entertainment business

-        Someone who is up to date on all the latest events and parties in the area, whether at the clubs, college campuses, etc.

-        Someone who loves to have fun,  is outgoing, loves to travel and party

-        Someone who is good with researching events and coming up with new ideas for the company

-        Bringing new ideas to the company is a plus

-        Someone who is not afraid to get out there and hustle hard for each event

-        Assist with passing out flyers (mandatory)

-        Post events on various blogs, websites, message boards & social networking sites (i.e., myspace,  facebook, bebo, etc.)

-        Update the website (if necessary) and answer inquiries about various events from ppl via phone and/or email

-        Email and/or mail out confirmations and invoices to participants and the such

-        May be required to contact the local radio stations for advertising various events

-        Keeping the mailing list updated (if necessary)

-        Creating a monthly event letter to send out to all on the mailing list (if necessary)

-        Updating our specials for different events; ensuring that the specials are posted and delivered to the mailing list contacts

-        Creating flyers or at least providing ideas and input for the flyers (if needed)

-        Keeping the company updated on the status of all events, participants, and the such

-        Being my right hand man (or woman)

-        Someone who just likes to have a good time while at the same time gaining experience in the marketing field

-   ATTENDING ALL EVENTS AND TRIPS AS MY RIGHT HAND, I WILL NEED YOU THERE TO ASSIST WITH THE EVENT.  ACCESS TO THE EVENTS AND TRIPS WILL BE FREE FOR YOU.

The pay rate will be discussed with all interested applicants.

Minimum requirements for the position:

High school diploma and experience

Someone with graphic design experience should provide 3 of your most recent samples

Someone with marketing experience should provide 3 references from the last 2 companies that you have worked for.

Candidate should have access to Microsoft office applications, photoshop, and various other application software.
